About Our Firm:
Hiromasa Ohashi and Jeff Horn began their relationship as aggressive competitors. While working together on initiatives for a nonprofit organization, they recognized a shared work ethic and commitment to excellence. They also recognized that the hierarchical, bureaucratic structures of the large law firms they worked for hindered their ability to offer services customized to the unique needs of their clients. They concluded that a highly-focused boutique firm would allow them to focus more on results and less on process and Ohashi & Horn LLP was born. Today, Ohashi & Horn LLP has counseled well over 100 multi-national public and private companies in a wide range of industries including electronics, finance, chemicals, telecommunications, consulting, software, manufacturing, trading, energy and real estate regarding a wide range of matters including establishing and maintaining intellectual property licensing and enforcement programs; the tax, liability and operational considerations associated with structuring operations in the United States; completing acquisitions of U.S. assets and securities; structuring strategic acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships; various labor and employment matters including workforce reductions and complex trade secret, confidentiality, non-competition and non-solicitation issues and disputes; U.S. corporate governance issues, fiduciary duties and methods for dealing with dissident board members and stockholders; and various complex commercial litigation matters.
